TRICKY DICK: THE MAN BEHIND THE WHEEL

Honoring a legendary road warrior, a devoted provider, and the toughest teacher we ever had.

The Hardest Worker in the Yard

Long before the sun came up over Mundelein, Illinois, that Ford dump truck was already firing up. Dad didn't know what punching out early meant. Whether he was hauling gravel through the pit runs or navigating winter sleet across the Chicagoland highways, every single mile he logged was driven by one single purpose: taking care of his family.

He carried the weight of the load on his shoulders every day without a single complaint, showing us all what true dedication looks like through action, not words.

“

He didn't just work to live; he worked to build a foundation for all of us.

Words to Live By

"Never Say I Can't..."

That phrase wasn't allowed in his truck, and it wasn't allowed in life. Whatever obstacle was in front of you—mechanical failure, a tough stretch of road, or a mountain of work—you figured it out and pushed through it.

"Get Tough"

Dad was the greatest teacher we ever had. He taught us how to handle life's rough patches with grit and backbone. When things got hard, his voice was always there telling us to square our shoulders and get tough.
